White Dew is the 15th solar term of the 24 Chinese solar terms. It marks the real arrival of autumn.
As temperatures drop at night, water vapor condenses into white dew on grass and leaves, hence the name “White Dew”. During this period, days are warm while nights turn cool. People focus on keeping warm and eating nourishing food to adapt to dry autumn weather.
