Notification of Changes to US Tariff Policy

The US's new Section 301 tariffs have taken effect, affecting 60 countries and regions. According to the latest announcement from US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the new tariffs under Section 301 (Section 301) will officially take effect on July 24, 2026 (00:01 Eastern Time).

Goods originating from China will be subject to an additional 12.5% ​​tariff.

List of countries subject to a 10% tariff: Argentina, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Canada, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Malaysia, Mexico, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Trinidad and Tobago, and the United Kingdom.

List of countries subject to a 12.5% ​​tariff: Algeria, Angola, Australia, the Bahamas, Bahrain, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Guyana, Hong Kong, Iraq, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Libya, and Morocco. New Zealand, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Peru, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, Uruguay, Venezuela, Vietnam

Exemption Scope:
(1) Certain commodities such as steel, aluminum, copper, auto parts, medium and heavy trucks, wood products, and semiconductors are eligible for exemption.

(2) Goods that have been loaded onto a ship before 12:01 AM on July 24, 2026, and whose consumption declaration is completed or goods are retrieved from a bonded warehouse for consumption before 12:01 AM on July 28, 2026, are eligible for in-transit exemption.

(3) Pharmaceutical application products/civil aircraft and parts/items listed in List 52(b)/items listed in List 52(c).
